WhatsApp numbers and inboxes

Each of your company's WhatsApp numbers joins the panel once and can then be used in conversations, broadcasts and automations. This is an admin task.

#Connect a number

1. In Conversations, open the settings (the gear icon) and go to Numbers.
2. Select Add number and give it a name, like "Sales" or "Support".
3. A QR code appears. On the number's phone, open WhatsApp, go to Linked devices and point the camera at the QR code.
4. Done: the number shows as Connected. The QR code refreshes by itself until you scan it.

#What each number is for

For each number you choose its uses: answering in Conversations, sending Broadcasts, running Automations and, if your company has one, replying with a bot.

#Inboxes: who sees what

A number's conversations land in an inbox. By default The whole team with access to Conversations sees it. To restrict one, for example "Billing":

1. Open the inbox and edit Who sees this inbox's conversations.
2. Pick the people and save.

Pick at least one person: an inbox with nobody in it would have no one to answer.
